The Chrome address bar, known as the Omnibox, got AI in its recent update, which helps it offer suggestions that are more precise and more relevant than before!
For suggested addresses the bar used to rely on handmade, configured formulas; those formulas were not flexible enough to improve or to match the different situations users are in.
Now Google has put machine-learning models into the browser’s address bar so they can offer better suggestions. Before suggesting a new web page, the models can take the time of your last visit into account, so you get the most accurate result!
