When you search for something, there is a vertical three-dot icon beside the link. Tap it and a window opens in which Google gives you information about the site.
For Telegram, for example, it says the site was first indexed by Google ten years ago.
Those three dots do not give information about that one link; they give it about the whole site, so you can work out whether the site is credible and has a good history.
