Before You Buy a Physical Server for a Data Center

1- Never buy a sealed server, because you have to open that seal to place the machine in a data center.
And if you also paid extra for a longer warranty on the server, in most cases you cannot open the seal, so I suggest avoiding the extra warranty as well.
2- Data center prices have gone up across the board now, and if your server is a single unit, the cost with the specifications below comes to about 1,500,000 Toman.
• Two power cables
• Two network cables (one of them for iLO)
• 8 IP addresses, usually inside one IP range
This cost covers only the rent for space in the data center, and other expenses such as license fees are added on top of that amount.
The second cost comes to between 100,000 and 700,000 Toman, depending on which licenses you choose.
Now that you have the explanation above, you can work out for yourself whether buying a physical server and keeping it in a data center has any economic benefit for you.
